HEARSE Schedules First-Ever Swedish Concert
September 17, 2009HEARSE, the Swedish "death 'n' roll" band featuring former ARCH ENEMY singer Johan Liiva and ex-FURBOWL drummer Max Thornell, will play its first-ever concert in the band's home country on October 24 at Stockholm's Kafé 44. Also scheduled to appear are GENERAL SURGERY and UNCURBED.
HEARSE's fifth album, "Single Ticket To Paradise", was released on June 15 via Vic Records.
the band filmed a video for the new song "Sundown" on February 7 in Stockholm with Owe Lingvall and Oscar from Village Road Film.
HEARSE's fourth LP, "In These Veins", was released in North America on September 18, 2007 via Candlelight Records.
Formed by longtime friends Thornell and Liiva, HEARSE recorded a demo before signing with Hammerheart Records. The band released a limited-edition 7-inch single, entitled "Torch", prior to issuing their debut album, "Dominion Reptillian", in 2003. A follow-up effort, "Armageddon Mon Amour", came out in 2004. The group's third CD, "The Last Ordeal", was released in August 2005 through Holland's Karmageddon Media.
